All of My Bad Days...

If you are anything like me you constantly believe that you have to it all figured out, but I’m here to reassure you that you absolutely don’t. The process to becoming the person you were created to be will:

 1. Have many victories
 2. Will challenge you
 3. Have some not so great days

Your journey will require some breaking and shaking, and maybe even those moments we all hate, of dare I say uncertainty. But the great and most powerful thing is that small knowing within that you can do anything. Think about a challenging situation that you’ve experienced, remember how you were frantically thinking, "When will this end?" Now think of where you are in present day (even if you are having a bad day) the point is simple: YOU MADE IT.

God has proven to be faithful and quite honestly YOU ARE STILL HERE.

Michelle McKinney Hammond stated, “There is a time of preparation for every level of life we allow God to complete in us. There are some things He wants to establish in us. We can consider ourselves buildings that are being upgraded. Some parts have to be leveled. Some torn up. Some tossed out to more room for something new and more glorious.”

So stop complaining about should’ve, could’ve, and would’ve. Or even better about how bad your day is because trust me it could be worse.

I dare you to find one thing you are grateful for today and in finding that one thing. Allow yourself to understand that without bad days we don’t evolve. Your life is an open field full of many things that you will endure but if you can keep smiling when you want to cry, push through when it hurts, then the reward will be far greater than you could have ever imagined.

Now dust off your bad day and get back it.
